Earth at farthest point from Sun

ROSMAN — Happy aphelion this evening. At 10 p.m. tonight, the Earth in its annual orbit will reach the farthest point from the sun, according to astronomers at the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute. Astronomers call this point aphelion.

Hummingbird, blooming vine a perfect pair
