The Backyard Brawl’s back

First Arkansas Bank & Trust is sponsoring the first Backyard Brawl between the Cabot Panthers and Jacksonville Red Devils football teams. A traveling trophy will be presented to the winner of the Tuesday’s game at Jan Crow Stadium in Jacksonville. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Bears do OK in scrimmage at stadium

If the Sylvan Hills Bears face Michael Dyer again, it will be a good thing. A very good thing. The Bears squared off with Dyer and the Little Rock Christian Warriors in a scrimmage Tuesday night at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The Warriors were the Class 5A runners-up last season.
